Harry Potter – From Book to Film!

In early 1997 "Harry Potter and the Philosopher´s Stone" had just been published. The English producer David Heyman had read the book, was inspired and decided to meet the author J.K. Rowling. Thus the story of the film began.

Following "Toy Story 1 and 2", "A Bug´s Life" and "Monsters Inc.", Pixar Animation Studios now takes the audience on a journey under water. This fully animated film is about the colourful and fascinating depths of the Pacific off Australia’s coast. The story tells of Nemo, the small clown fish and his father. From the hijacking of the son and the father´s adventurous search for him. Aside from great pictures particularly the witty dialogue and crack lines provide fun for the entire family.

"King Kong": A Classic of US Horror Films

On the 2 March 1933, one of the most successful horror films of history premiered at New York´s “Radio City Music Hall”: “King Kong”: Girl Snatched By Giant Gorilla! That’s what the film poster sensationally announced at the German premiere. At that time probably no one in the large audience anticipated what a huge success this film would eventually become. In the meantime, this giant ape stands beside Dracula and Frankenstein in the first row of the mythical film characters.
