How much is the membership in the WAS IST WAS Club?

Membership in the WAS IST WAS Club is free of charge and can be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation your personal data will be deleted.

How do I register with the WAS IST WAS Club?

You can register with the WAS IST WAS Club directly here online. You´ll then receive an e-mail with a link; by clicking that link you confirm that your e-mail address is correct. Next we´ll send you a confirmation e-mail granting you limited access as a prospective customer. It will also contain a letter of acknowledgment with all your data. Please print this and have one of your parents or legal guardians sign it. As soon as you have returned or faxed the signed confirmation, you´ll receive an e-mail with your member number and password. With this you can log in at any time and free of charge to access the entire Club area and participate everywhere. Of course we´ll also send your membership card and your welcome present!

Can I become a member even if I don´t live in Germany?

How can I change my data (password, e-mail address etc.)?

You can change your personal data directly online.
Simply log in and call up the Club tower from the menu. You can edit your data in "Profile".

What do I do if I forgot my password?

If you forgot your password, you can click on “Forgot password?” located below each Login box on our Website. Then you can request your password by entering your user name or your member number. You´ll receive an e-mail immediately.

Which programs do I need for the WAS IST WAS Club?

For most activities in the Internet like watching films, listening to music or playing games, you need some additional programs already included with most browsers. If your browser doesn´t include such programs, you can download them free of charge from the Internet.
Please do not forget to ask your parents for permission before downloading the programs! Best of all, ask them to help you with the downloading.

Adobe Reader
Often text files on the Internet are offered for download as a PDF file. To open these, you need the Adobe Reader which you can download free of charge.

Macromedia Flash Player
For many Web pages and games you need the "Flash Player" – it provides for moving images on the Internet. The program is available for free. You can download it from the Macromedia site!

Real Player
With "Real Player" you can listen to sound on the Internet and also watch films. You also need it to watch videos on our Websites as well as others. A simple version of this program is available for free on the Internet.
Unfortunately, the site of the manufacturer is quite confusing, so the free version is difficult to find. Make sure you don´t accidentally get the commerical version that you´ll have to buy.
